In Their Words

Disclaimer: This blog is intended purely to facilitate a better understanding of Ahmadis. We are not here to preach Ahmadiyya faith or discuss the merits of one religion over the other. We believe that the choice of religion is a personal matter and no one should be persecuted because of their choice of religion.

1) Quick Facts about the Ahmadiyya Community
  • Founded in 1889, it spans over 195 countries with membership exceeding tens of millions. Its current headquarters are in the United Kingdom.
  • Leading organization to categorically reject terrorism in any form. Over a century ago, Ahmad(as) emphatically declared that an aggressive “jihad by the sword” has no place in Islam. In its place, he taught his followers to wage a bloodless, intellectual “jihad of the pen” to defend Islam. To this end, Ahmad(as) penned over 80 books and tens of thousands of letters, delivered hundreds of lectures, and engaged in scores of public debates.
  • It has been at the forefront of worldwide disaster relief through an independent charitable organization, Humanity First
  • Its members are among the most law-abiding, educated, and engaged Muslims in the world.
  • It is the only Islamic organization to endorse a separation of mosque and state.

2) What do the Ahmadis believe in?
Who best can answer this than the Ahmadis themselves? This page will chronicle a list of primary sources  issued by the Ahmadiyya community about their belief system. The intention is to improve our collective understanding of the similarities and differences.
